Im sure you could put a os .18TM Backplate housing on it and run a EZ Start on it (or Pull-Start)

The pilot shaft is different than traxxas too. The Traxxas IPS shaft is shorter and has a larger diameter. I suppose it could work with a touring car clutch bell if you could get the spacing right. You'd probably end up getting getting the clutch and flywheel too.

Which adds $68 to the price and puts it at $218. And you can get a Picco .26Max for less than that.

If you want an OS .18 you can find NIB .18TM's on Ebay for as little as $150 plus shipping. That would be the easiest and likely most cost effective option.

If you want to use a pull start on it, you will need a 18tm crank, backplate, and starter shaft. You don't need a BB mount. Its a direct fit.
