need help revo 3.3 tranny?? im stumped
ok i know how to shift sooner or later etc.....i did it alot on my tmaxx 3.3 before i had a bad crash that made the motor lose compression and alot more...and got rid of it. But i turned the screw to that it would shift sooner. and then i had it stuck in second gear... i did about a 1/4 turn...then i go to adjust it again and when i try to get the hole lined up with the allen the tranny locks up. And if i really try to turn it against the motors compression the clutch will start slipping. SO i was thinking it is binded in second gear....dont have pics but any advice will help...never had this happen with any traxxas truck i have driven all models tmaxx and revo except for the platinum which i would love to have in my garage. thanks again guys.

Pull the truck backwards on a table to get the clutch adjustment screw to come to the opening in the case. You shouldn't be turning the engine over either way you turn the wheels, the clutch bell should just spin freely.

yeh i know that is what it should do....ive done it alot with my older traxxas trucks.... i even tried forward and reverse so i took it apart last night and the stress from it running in only second gear siezed up my clutch...any good suggestions for a good aftermarket clutch bell and internals that is worth the money? if not ill just slap on the tmaxx 3.3 clutch?

I know that I do believe that MIP MIGHT make a aftermarket clutch bell, but u would have to check their site to see for sure. Also, Im not totally sure, but its quite possible that Robinson racing might make aftermarket clutch bells as well, but again, u probably will have to check their site to see what they do and don't have...
