Default My Nitro Stampede problem

I have this old Nitro Stampede that was given to me and ive been fixing up. I started having problems with the primer pump on the gas tank, its old and tends to introduce air bubbles into the line. I know most people suggest going with a primerless tank, but i dont think theres one available for the stampede. I ended up getting an in-line bulb style pump from associated thinking this would solve my problems, but now i have a new problem. The engine will start up and idle, but when i give it any throttle, it just cuts out. do these things change the way your engine pulls fuel in? do you think it could use it on the exhaust return line to the tank and use it as kind of a bellows?

any help would be appreciated.

Put fresh fuel lines on, try another tank (if u have 1), or pull the primer pump out seal the hole with i screw w/an o-ring. then check your settings.

U forgot one key component there future; u also need to seal it up with some heavy duty super glue after u cut the primer out......
