High i was at my lhs and saw a body on a 2.5 T-MAXX
It was green and so sweet.Mine is suposed to be a 3.3 cause it has a 2.5,but the guy at the hobby shop said i have a 3.3 with a 2.5 engine after he looked at the drive train.My question is will the new 2.5 body fit my 3.3? Cause when i was in there the pin posts on the new 2.5 looked closer together then mine,as if mine are spread further apart.So do you think this 2.5 body will fit my 3.3.Thanks.

is it a pre-made body?
if not, me and my sister run nitro mts, and she runs an ofna dominator, with a traxxas bodyshell i had spare, from buying a new one.
all that had to be done was drill some new holes, for the mouting posts, and it fits well. =]

Thanks folks for good answers,the 1st is right more so cause mine is very old school and it's like $40 some bucks so i don't want to drill.So i thought i'll just take mine down there and see if they adapet,thank you both for your time in answering a question that i so spupidly asked,lol all i gota do is take it down and find out.,sincerely Joe.ps sorry my spelling sucks.

A 3.3 chassis will not work accept a 2.5 body and vice versa. Hey Joe I remember you...I got that HPI car from you. What's up with you?

Hey whats up bro? Did that tranny ever get figured out with your HPI? tHE Last owner i got it from neglected to let me know that it was messed up. It ran great for a few tanks then the dam thing wouldn't shift.Did you replace it? Or just get rid of it? Cause it was a fun car until i found out what i really traded dude for.Oh well,hey take care brother,call any time 1-607-239-6561.

Actually I ran the car and it did shift but I think the motor was out of tune and then the motor started acting funny so I put an XTM .15 on it and it runs fine but I think I'll be putting a Sportwerks .26 or O.S. .18 on it.

I personely would go with the .18 it's lighter and spins faster, the the bigger the engine the harder to turn,.18 is putting out a little less torque but a lot more hp.Go .18.Cause the .18 is just like a 2.5.
