heard about these?
well I have been waiting 3weeks for my 645MG to get back, so Friday I just went to go buy a new one... my hobby dude advised me to use this for the time being... as the 645MG is on its way back from the Hitec importers... these are stronger and faster than the Hitec one for 1/2 the price... 9001MG Power HD... what you guys think? If I could read that gibberish, I'd tell you whether or not it's better. But from what I can make out, it looks like it says something about Doppelgangers and Keggers...

Bout the same power and substantially faster than your 645MG, IF the specs can be trusted, which I have found with many of the "off" brands, they cannot.... I have had enough of cheap off brand servos which are slower and weaker than the specs state, often have centering issues, use more power than a "name brand" servo and are not even the same from one servo to the next...
My feelings are... If a servo fails in use, that can be pretty serious... Not as bad in a truck as in an airplane, but still, if its on the throttle and fails at full throttle, and the throttle return spring cant overcome it (or you don't have one), thats bad... In the steering there is less chance of a major disaster, but its a definite possibility if it fails at full throttle and/or at just the wrong moment... I would rather spend an extra $20-$30 on a servo that I know from experience (mine and thousands of others) has a 95% chance of not failing and will definitely live up to its stated specs without excessive power drain on my receiver pack, than dive into something unknown...
My $0.02

I just bought one of [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=513491]these high torque servo's[/link] for 30 bucks.... they claim 202 oz in and .13 sec. at 6v. W'ell see how it works. They also say they have a moneyback guarentee.
Look on ebay for servos. Should be able to get a name brand quality servo fairly cheap.
