RE: Traxxas Summit
Dewalt motor would be considered the upgrade motor to the Titan. I installed a dual dewalt setup because of power derp.
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
It was $91 shipped with motor mount. Yes its waterproof and yes it works with the stock esc.
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Hope this isn't too stupid a question but what is power derp?

Thanks I just really want show you guys these wheels n tires my buddy gave me he bought them for his tmaxx and they were too much same for his brother revo (their made for the summit) |
RE: Traxxas Summit
The way i do it is photobucket. It doesnt work with the newest update from apple on my iphone anymore. Just go to photobucket.com and if u dont have an account ull have to make 1. It should be pretty easy once u get that far.

RE: Traxxas Summit

RE: Traxxas Summit
WOW thats F'n huge.... I guess it worked
Anyways he gave these to me cause he has zero use for them they have been run on about two times he said other then that been sitting in a shed collecting dust their proline moabs and the wheels are wels the orange bead lock is aluminum idk if thats the norm for bead locks. either way Im pretty stoked on them and hope they work well. have any of you guys used the moabs before? how are they? |
RE: Traxxas Summit
Beast if you get the photo bucket app you can upload from there on the iPhone that's how I did it I put up a photo of the slash on another thread on the computer and it was more complicated then on mobile. Idk if you have tried the app I have the 4s idk if that could make a difference too but I doubt it
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Idk i had the app for a year and worked fine til the last update. Now it wont access my photos...o well. Doing it on my laptop will work til they fix it.

RE: Traxxas Summit
My dewalt is out for delivery!!!!:):):)
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Your stoked on the new motor there beast my summit will be here the next time I get paid on the 22nd these next 12 day are going to drag I just know it lol. What do you guys think of those Moab tires or are they a bust?
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Nice score nave88, the tyres should do alright, they look pretty beefy. Are those rims 23mm or 17mm hex? if they are 23mm you'll have to invest in some new hubs to use them.
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Are you talking about the hole that the axle goes thru? Idk how big that is but I do know to fit those wheels I have to buy a hex adapter for the hub that will allow them to slide on cause the wheels dont have that star shape to them. I saw a picture of the summit on google image with these weld wheels I'll see if I can find it again </p> |
RE: Traxxas Summit
http://i1299.photobucket.com/albums/...87379131D2.jpgThese are the same wheels
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
If you have to buy an adapter I'd say they have a 23mm hex, I'm not sure what the word "weld" on the beadlocks refers to but what you have are Pro-Line Cheyenne rims. I could be wrong but I don't think they are on the market anymore which makes them a really good score.
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
They may be proline wheels but they have "weld racing" stamped on them. Weld was a wheel manufacture and went under not too long ago. Non the less I like them and hope the work and do well for the summit. The diameter is 1/2" less then the stock canyons but they feel like they make the wight back in the wheel. Does anyone know what the stockers weight?

RE: Traxxas Summit
Well i got home yesterday night, opened up my motor and mount and nothing was soldered after i payed the extra $ for the prep!!! So now i have to send it back and wait another 2 weeks!!! First he forgot to mail it so it was already a few days late. Im waiting for his reply as to what we are going to do. At thos point i think i just want a refund! Wow! 1 star review for kershaw designs!
|
RE: Traxxas Summit
Sorry to hear that about your motor. If it was me I'd prolly try to get some of my $$$ back keep the motor and solder it myself tho idk what all need to be soldered on that motor is it just a connector or do you have to put cables directly to a raw motor with the little resister duehickies if that's the case I'd send it back as well and find another source to give my money to. Who knows he might end up cutting you a fair discount for the troubles you have dealt with so far.
