OK i have a T-maxx 2.5 . where i live it has been in the 90's would the heat be hard on the motor?

no, you will be fine. just tune it for performance and engine temps

Not exactly. It would only be a problem if it caused the engine to overheat dramatically. Proper tuning should keep that from happening. I would expect that the engine temps would be higer than if it were run on a cooler day. I read someplace that a good rule of thumb for engine temps is around 160 - 180 degrees above the ambiant temps.
Having said that I DO NOT reccomend tuning for temps. Tune the engine for sound, smoke and performance and then check the temp for a reference point.

yup it was 95 here today and i was out driving.  Just tune it so its not burning up

I think i have all of yall beat its been about 130+ every day for the past two months and it only gets hotter here in august. But i pretty much have no problem running my truck in any weather out here in Iraq. Just tune to where there is plenty smoke and stays running.
