Default Don Smith A-26 Invader

I just picked up a Custom Cutters kit for this aircraft. My question is can I power this with Saito 100's, is this enough power? Or do I need something bigger. Oh by the way its the 105" version

I would say the 100's should be just fine. He recommends .91's. I am just about to finish a P-38 that is about the same size, (100" with ~1250 sq. in. wing area). I will be using .91 four strokes. At 18lbs(if I make it to 18lbs) I will only have about a 32oz wing loading.

How's the A-26 going? I'm just about to purchase a kit.

I fly Don's 120" Invader, with two BME 50's. It weighs in at 55Lbs++ and on a asphalt surface with 20Deg. flap, is off in about 200' You could probably get away with about half of what I use, say two 200cc motors. This plane does not behave well in slow flight. I suggest you have good power response.
