Default Sig 1/5 Cub FA-90T Mounting

I'm looking at fitting a 90T into a 1/5 cub. It looks like the mount on the back does not allow the motor to sit high enough to line up with the thrust line.

Will there be no problems mounting this motor inverted? Carbs/needles down, exhaust up?

It seems if I cut the bottom of the mount 1/4" and add new mounting holes I can lift the motor up high enough and keep the needles in the cowl.

I sent you a PM. I think you will find an answer in the Scale forum.

Here is a link to one thread that popped up with a search: Saito 90TS - Sig 1/5 Scale Cub thread

Most engines will run upside down just fine, just be careful that the cylinder doesn't get flooded on a prime. I've saw some place the plane upside down to start.
