Sorry to hear about your P38. My wife gave me a 100 in P 38 for Christmas from G&L hobbies. It is supposed to weigh arround 15#. With your experience is the P38 more likely to snap on one motor if your over powered to begin with?
I was planning on using 91 4strokes or 120 YS 4 strokes. This is not going to be an all out scale job. It will have retracts. and flaps.
I have several twins but I never used a gyro in them yet. Do you mount the gyro in the center pod? Thanks and Happy New Year to all.

Sir,
My two cents is not that over power causes the snap. It is a combination of the wing loading, small rudders, small side area booms, and very wide engine spacing.
That size plane would be better served with larger engines. You really will not like this plane under powered.
Gyro(s) go in the center pod near the cg.
