Default Multi Scale fun fly

Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but will take a chance and see what happens:

Go to this website: www. the fieldcb.org click on 'Events'

All information there about a multi Scale 2 day event...AMA sancation, 70" WS, With at least 2 engines...June 26-27..$ 20.00 entry fee...

Check it out..seems like a good event for those interested in Multi engines...

This appears to be the event that originated in the P38 flyin thread. The Cedar Rapids Skyhawks will have a warbird gathering July 17 and I understand some consideration for special flight times for multi's is being considered as several are expected to show up, so after Council Bluffs you'all are invited over to Cedar Rapids.

Bill,

Where do you fly in CR?

I used to live there. Haven't been home in a couple years. Maybe that weekend would be a good time to return.

We have a brand new field, just opened last Aug. The land is owned by the Cedar Rapids Parks Dept but is located out in the county, north of the city, appx 2 miles north of the McBride airport. There is a map and some pics on our website www.crskyhawks.org
It replaces our field that was located at the Marion Airport, we lost it due to aiport expansion, there are 4 enclosed and 1 open air hanger built on our old runway. Beverly Gardens runway (which replaced Seminol Valley) will probably only be open 1 more year before hiway expansion closes it.

Thanks Bill,

The city always was receptive to model aviation activities, going back to the days when we flew control line at Van Vechten Park.

Hope I can make it to the warbird gathering.
