Default Wing Mfg. A-26

Just received a laser cut kit, that was made for me...it is outstanding. The enclosed picture is the precut of the kit, on cardboard..everything is checked against the plans..modified if necessary.
Then the kit is cut on BALSA or PLYWOOD, what ever the plans call for....these guys did a fabulous
job....The fuselage sides (48") are one piece and marked inside for the former location......plywood doublers for added strength...all of the small parts are plastic bagged and marked ie N-1A (nacelle fromer), the Fin, Elevator parts are all marked. This will be my number 2 A-26 the first one I cut
all the parts myself...but this is so accurate...this will be a great flying model.

Do you have an estimate on the cost of the necessary flat stock still required for this build?
In other words how does the cost compare to Wings complete(?) wood parcel.
Also is Wings fuselage side not the single piece full length?
I'm comparing this to the 8-04 RCM A-26 and like to have as much information as possible before I completely foul it up! :-|
Thanks.

Climate Models will laser cut the whole thing for about $80.00 (wood included)
The fuselage sides are one piece 48" ...The only thing you need is the wing skins & wing tips,
all other wood is provided.

Just received my laser cut wood. Be prepared for it to take a little over two weeks to arive after shipping due to the delay at customs.

I got the fastest service I have ever had from Canada from Climate Models. The fuselage sides were damaged in shipment and Peter Richards of Climate has cut new sides and shipped them to me. Anybody can be good when times are good, Climate made good when there were problems. Phil Cope

Looks like a great project. You ARE going to be doing an online build aren't you?

I also ordered my laser cut parts from Climate models.

I should comment that the company also "burns" the part number
into the wood. Very helpfull in finding small parts.

Shipping is a little stiff but I ordered 2 sets of wood to offset
the cost a little.

Definately get the laser cut wood set.
worth every nickel.
