I have a broken in pair of new .25's in need of a new twin. I contacted John at ne-aero.com asking about the Twin-Air .25 where I was informed he is out with no immediate plans to cut any more kits.
I currently fly a Duellist and the GP Profile 38.
I'm looking for a nice easy building kit (as I'm in the midst of another larger project too). Something sporty that I can burn holes in the sky with. I would prefer a twin kit but might be game for modifying something like a 40 sized Sportster, 4-Star, or Tiger.
Any suggested kit's out there?
Thanks for your input.
Scott.

Since NE-Aero isn't currently supplying a twin in that size range I don't know of one currently available.
The TwinStar is to be released again this month or next, and while it wont be very exciting with your 25 engines they will fly it.
Morris Hobbies did supply a kit they called the "Twin Trainer," it may still be available. A profile plane I don't like profiles. It's similar to your "Profile-38."
Otherwise, looks like it's time to "Bash or Scratch" if you can't find a set of plans, and are willing to build from plans.

Hey, I bashed a 40 size Giles 202 into a twin and it was GREAT fun!! If you can find a plane similar to that at a swap meet, you can bash it fairly cheap. The 25's will work very well in a plane of that size.

I've had my eye on the Great Planes Ultra Sport 40+ as a future twin project. Smooth pattern-like lines and the plans include a retract option.
I modified this Ringmaster from Model Airplane News plans for my 25s. Easy to build, constant-cord wing. 54" span, 39" length.

Since it is an "All Balsa" kit of simple design, it would be pretty easy to cut and build a Twin-Air .20 from plans. Maybe N.E. Aero would send you a set, or you could get a set from one of us who has built them. Of course, the parts wouldn't have the beautiful laser cuts their kits have, but it seems a shame to have two nice .25's and NOT put them in a Twin Air .20.

I took a Sportair 40 kit and put on two nacelles. Instant Twinair 25. Got the plans from Northeast Aero some time ago. Check with them to see if they still may have some in stock. It was a fairly easy bash. Best flying 25 size twin I ever owned.

Scott (and Mark):
Northeast Aerodynamics has the Twin-Air 20 plan set listed separately [link=http://www.ne-aero.com/specials.html]here[/link].
As nice as the 45 size, just smaller.

You are like the Grand Poobah of where to get stuff!
Cutlass/Scott:
That's a great idea to get a Sport Air kit and bash it!
I vaguely remember when I built my first Twin Air a decade ago, someone said it was just a Sport Air 40 with two nacelles and a nose cone instead a firewall.
