Dear AmishWarlord:

The PIPE here yet AGAIN...I bet your answer exists at

http://www.luft46.com/arado/are340.html

...as that "Luft '46" site is PACKED with info on never-produced German designs like the one in the photo!

Some Blohm und Voss designs that look VERY much like Rutan's SpaceShip One are there...and one of the Arado E 555 flying wing JET designs looks FRIGHTENINGLY close in general appearance, to the prop-driven Nazi flying wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark...!

Check out that site...I'd bet I found your aircraft in the photo!

Yours Sincerely,

The PIPE!

Yet another "what the heck is it" that would make a really interesting tailless multi projcet. Apparently this Russian Kalin K-12 did fly in prototype form in the late thirtys.

Ar E. 340

Damn pipe how did you find that one so fast? LOL

Now this is the most Screwed up flying boat in the world! I have to build it and fly it to prove the designer wasn't smoking crack! Gee thanks Pipe as if I didn't have enough projects lined up!
