Default Two Twins Flying

I presently have two twins flying. My Britton-Norman Islander has been flying seven years now with 149 flights on it. It has a 114" span, weighs 31lbs. and is powered by two G-23's. The other twin is a modified Goldberg Sr. Falcon scratch built from an original set of plans. It has a 81" span and is powered by two O.S. 40 FP's. I also have floats for it.
I'm just starting to build a Don Smith B-17G with four G-23's.

Default GAF NOMAD

Just wanted to post this picy on the forum!

this is a picture of my GAF (not German Air Force) NOMAD!, powered by 2 Super Custom 36A engines with 10x7 three bladed props. It flys really well. Its quite rare as i have never seen another one like it

The model was built from the RCM&E plan, sometime in late 1980's. Does anyone have a plan???, as i want to build a larger one.....e.g. 150ich wingspan,

if anyone has an image of there GAF NOMAD please send it to me at

[email protected].

Thanks

Andrew, from the rainy UK

Hello Andrew,
Airborne magazine plans service has the Nomad N22B plan number 529 at
http://www.airbornemagazine.com.au/i...5_01_page5.gif

Picture of a nomad in Australian Army colours at

There are Nomad models flying around my area, Brisbane, and if pics are needed the Army Aviation Museum at Oakey is only a couple of hours drive west from here.

PT21Flyer,

I remember seeing your Sr Falcon at one of the float flies at Winchester. Really nice looking plane. Great color scheme and finish. I like how you cowled the engines. I also like the 3-piece wing.

Many people just consider the Falcons to be out-of-date trainers from many years ago. They actually have a semi symmetrical airfoil that was close to symmetrical so it is good for acro. It has a built-up, airfoiled stab and a thin, sleek fuselage.

I've attached some pictures I took at the meet back in 2005.

Ed,

Thanks for posting the pics. I remember you from that float-fly. I still fly the Sr. Falcon Twin once a year at our float-fly. Still flies great.
