RE: Tu-95: Swept Wing Design???
Hi Dan,
Your proposal sounds interesting... It would even work with our wingspan, and the counter-rotating props would really be a nice feature of the plane !
So far I still favorize the glow power variant for several reasons - they are well known to me and I have collected enough experience in flying glow multis, and I guess I don't have to trouble that much with exceeding weight (but, a light plane will always fly better than a lead bomber!)... but I will think again about it, the time when I have to decide about the power option is still far away!
By the way, would it be possible to combine your counter rotating propellers with a four stroke engine of about .61 to .91 size, or maybe with two stroke engines of the same size???
regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
Here we are a year and a half later. I finally finished my Tu-95 and it was a "Bear" to complete.
Lost your email address with computer problems so here are a few pictures. We plan to fly in August.
