Default Kyosho DC-3

Hi all,
I have acquired a Kyosho DC-3 NIB.Anybody out there put one of these together and flown one? Do you think the robart retracts for the top flight DC-3 would fit.Looking for info.IM using to 52 fourstrokes,It called for 30 2 strokes but i thought they fall a little short if i had a flame out.Any knowledge is appreciated.

Default Kyosho DC-3

You look at this plane and think It looks a lot like the Top Flite it should fly just as good. This plane is super critical wt. and balance. I have tried it a little forward and aft cg. both were bad. The landing gear is pure junk I custom made my own. The plane flys very unstable it will bank left or right and the pitch is very sensitive. It lands at just under 1/2 power . I made mine with no flaps. I am giving up on the Kyosho and buying this DC-3 kit. Look up American Eagle kits out ofNew Orleans LA. I think they are www.flyrcmodels.com
. The stall occurs if the plane is pushed just a tiny bit too much.like on final appch. if you were to raise the nose up to flare the plane will drop a wing very quickly. at altitude during stall tests when the plane stalls one wing will drop nearly 90 degrees. you must let it build up a lot of speed before leveling the plane and arresting your sink rate. In landing when power is reduced below say 1/2 power in a nose level attitude the plane will want to drop a wing.
