Rigging for 2 brushless motors
Hi, can you connect 2 brushless motors in parallel and use an ESC with twice the amperage to power them? If not, how to do it without using 2 recievers?
I`m planning to use 2 rimfires on a twin sportster so weight is an issue.
Thanks, Colmo

RE: Rigging for 2 brushless motors
Colmo:
In a word, each brushless motor needs it's own controller(ESC). Two ESCs can easily be connected to one receiver channel with a servo "Y" connnector.

disclaimer: some experimenters have gotten two motors to work off of one ESC, but no brushless ESC supplier supports doing so.
