Homemade DC10/C47 retracts
I know somewhere on rcu I have seen a file that showed a way to build a set of retract gear. I saved it ...and now have lost it. No matter what search words I use on the google search tool I can't seem to find it. I am hoping someone on the multi thread posted it. Or knows where it is, thanks for any help.

Do you want gear for a C-47 or for a DC-10? I suspect one of those is a typo, as there is very little similarity between the two...

Sorry I guess the C47 ..... I was thinking one was the military and the other civilian type. I was looking for the drawings as I was thinking of adapting the gear to another project . I should have printed them out the first time I think.

It was the DC-10 (three engine jumbo jet from the 1970s) that was causing the search problem. A search for DC-3 turned up the thread that I think you are referring to as follows:
