Default Twin Sync set up help!

I'm setting up my Topo flite DC-3 with the Twin Sync. The install went slow but very nice. I'm getting it set up and have hit a problem. When I advance the throttle led3 in on until about %60 and then goes off. I reversed my transmitter throttle channel and went to the Twin Sync unit and put the rotary switch to 7 and hit both sw1 and sw2 to reverse the Twin Sync. The throttles move in the right direction but now led4 stays on and led3 does nothing??? I thought led4 only comes on when the engines are on and in sync and led3 should come on only above idle? Any help would be great. Thanks

There is a TwinSync support forum on this board. Why not post your question there, and let the manufacturer answer it?

Deltatech,

Sorry, I did not see this. If you post in the Twinsync support forum I get an email when someone makes a post so I can respond immediately.

Did you move the rotary switch back to position 0. Sounds like you left it in position 7.

I'll send you a PM with my phone number. Just give me a call when you are at the plane.

I just got off the phone with Deltatech. I think he is all set now. He promised an update when he runs the engines...

I was a little rusty myself from the winter and the sparse support calls to that didn't keep all of the programming options fresh in my mind. It's almost time to start flying again though - that should refresh my memory. I couldn't remember how to program it and had to read the manual. I have to admit I can not write a manual. I appologize to the group - you know what I meant - right?

The device works great if you can figure out what I am saying in the manual.

I promise - I will rewrite it....

I will tell you what is worse than poor tech support from Dell after buying a computer from them.

That is to be a supplier to Dell. (Yes they are my customer with my day job).

They still build the best desktops though.

This is a good example of how things should be.
I posted my issue here and not in the Twin Sync support forum board. As soon as Bill caught wind that somone had an issue he took action to help me. When I contacted him I was frustrated but he seamed to know just what to do to get things done. He stepped me through some programming and after a few minutes of trial and error he had the solution. I was able to see what his course of thinking was. He was very patient and answered my questions. He was a nice all American kind of guy and I am very pleased with this experiance. I'm looking forward to firing up my OS40la's and putting the system to the test. Thanks again
