Twin from the past
I was going through some old photos this past week and came across one of my 1973 designs that would still hold up today.
This is my Twin Cyclone powered by K&B 40s. It featured a fiberglass fuselage and sheeted foam core surfaces. The finish was either Hobbypoxy or K&B Superpoxy both of which were popular with the pattern set at that time.
The airframe was basically a modified pattern plane that I had designed which I called a Cyclone.
It had plenty of power and would fly on either engine which happened more than once. The roll lines were not as linear as the pattern ship but overall it was a smooth aerobatic performer for the day.
Just thought that some in here would like to see that the seventies had advanced designs going on just as the decades before and those that have followed.
