Default RCV Engines

Need some advice! I just purchased a KMP F7F Tigercat. I am considering using two RCV engines to power the aircraft. Under consideration is the RCV90SP and the RCV91CD. I have never used either of these engines and would like some input from anyone who has experience with either engine or any other engine from RCV.

Your advice will be appreciated.

Frank, Great post! But, you're in the AMA forum. I suggest that you take this to another forum.

Have a great day!

Have a look at the prototype powered by two RCV 91CD's.

I have a RCV 91 CD in my Bolton Paul Defiant, great engine.

I'm thinking of using a pair of them in my Top Flite Cessna 310.

FYI, RCV has introduced a 130 version to go along with their 91 and 58 size engines.

I have 4 RCV-90SPs and will have glow drivers as I do not want to let them cool off and stall. As I recall my conversation with the folks in England, they said make sure you break the engines in very well and you won't have any problems.
