Default Top Flite Cessna 310 Electric conversion

I picked up a top flite Cessna 310 from Tower hobbies scratch and dent. Saved a ton of cash on it. I would like to convert this to electric, Has anyone out there done this? Will it really fly good with .46 eletric equivelent? I will be testing the electric components in a Seagull Duel Ace. I am planning on using Rimfire 42-60-800 outrunners with 80 amp speed controllers with 5 cell 18.5 volt 4000 Mah lipo's 15c. Any experiance, thoughts or ideas?

Read the hundred plus page thread in this Section! Several people have done this conversion, with great results!

Just curious...what did you pay for the 310 in the scratch and dent. What was it's condition when you received it?

Thanks,

Bo

$365 shipped to me, The only thing is that the Rudder horn is missing. You have to watch s 7&d all the time to hit the really good deals.

I'd like to know two things about the Top Flite Cessna 310 Twin: 1) What brushless motors and speed controls should I use to take the place of the recommended 50 nitros? and 2) what screw-drive retracts are recommended for this model?

Thanks!
Eddie
