Default Looking for a DP duellist....

I have searched Ebay for weeks, and cant seem to find a Platt (Pica) duellist kit. I can find plans.. but I am not contributing to a PIRATE. [>:] Anyway, I like the flexibility of building a kit.(and I am not too crazy of YELLOW ARFs).
Anyone know of an unbuilt kit out there?[:-]

Thanx!!

CC:

I have had several Platt Duelists and now have one framed up and one NIB and signed by Dave Platt. I also have the Cox "yellow" one...not nearly as good.

It is not kosher to sell in this format, but keep looking...they come on e-bay accassionally and they go for $200-$250.

Good luck...

Bo

Why waste your money on a Mk. I kit when you can buy the [link=http://209.196.57.92/ME2/dirmod.asp?sid=&nm=&type=EcomBB&mod=E%2DCommerce%3A%3AProduct+Catalog&mid=D30FB4BBE3764A5694C4972616B7262A&tier=3&id=D9BE7550249D4C7DB1ABBD84D9DDE378]Mk. II Duellist[/link] plans from Model Airplane News for $19.95?
Building from plans is fun :-).

I plan to do just that RedB! The MkII doesn't have all those odd thrust and incidence angles. After waiting 3 weeks (!) I got a set of plans with a copy of the Dave Platt interview. I'm currently preparing a bill of material list and it looks like wood and hardware will come out to around $125.00 through BUSA and Tower.

corsaircrazy....I have a Duellist 2/40 NIB if you are interested.

I also have the Super Duellist 2/60 limited production kit NIB that I would part with to finance a new project.

The discussion forums are not to be used to buy and sell. The RCU Market Place is available for both sale and wanted ad's. I am going to lock this one down. Thanks Dave
