Default can anyone recomend a twin for a pair of .31 4strokes

I have a pair of new .31 four strokes and was thinking of twin. But I am coming up short with an airframe small enough. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Chris

I agree with Wayne22. They would fit nicely in the twinstar.

I have a pair of .21 four strokes in one of my old Twin-Air 20's.

Nice plane. Small, but nice. Flies scale, but won't loop with the HP 21's. Must admit it also doesn't have enough power to get me in trouble the way O.S. 25 2-strokes do in my other Twin Air.

It doesn't come as an ARF, far as I know.

I just found Skyrocket designed by Rich Uravitch. But Hobby Hangar does not seem to list any specs. and it seems to have a steep price tag for a kit. Can some one post additional info. or another plane that is comparable. I am looking for something unique if possible.

Topflight DC-3?

Fun build so far, don't think it'll need as much power as people initially think, but I'm going with 32 two strokes, mostly so I can swing a bigger prop.

I scratch-built an A10 Warthog from Uravich plans in a Model Airplane News from about 7 years ago. I'm sure the plans are still floating around somewhere. I think it called for .09's in it, but they would barely get it rolling...I ended up using two Magnum .15 ABC motors, and that made it fly...not spectacular, so I think your 4 strokers would push it around with authority. Maybe there's an ARF version floating around if you're not up for scratch-building - but if you are, there's TONS of plans available on the web for all kinds of twins. Then you fit the bird to the motors instead of the other way around.

Hope you find something "different" to build.
Mark

Hi!
Top Flight DC-3 will be fine for two .30 four strokes. (I have 10x5, 3-blade scale (Hamilton standard) props for those engines/plane if you are interested
OS.32 two strokes will be way way too much power and plane will fly like a pattern bird.

Take a look at the Rich Uravich (Hobby Hanger) little Bronco..... it is a little larger thant the NP unit, which would make it a better match for your engines, and it looks a lot more scale like..
