Default deuces wild motor choice

Hi guys,
I am going to get this beauty some time in the spring but do not care for the eflight motors. I am an AXI guy but I could go for another brand on some ones experience on using alternate motors. Has any one out there used any thing besides the eflight's.
I know that I am opening up a can of worms here by not liking the eflight's, but from what I have seen and heard of them in flight I feel that there are better choices out there than the eflights.
Thanks

I have an EFlite Ultra Stik 25E and instead of powering it with the recommended Power 25, I used an AXi 2820. This is a great combo. I have plenty of power and the AXi with the"X" mount fits the same holes as the Power 25 with its "X" mount. I use a 12x6 prop on 3 cell 3700 LiPos.

thanks for the reply mrmulligan. The eflight motors that they show on sites really don't give much in the way of specs to know just what the motor is able to do.

I have a few of the EFlite motors, a couple of Power 25's, a Power 32, and a Power 46. I also have the smaller ones like the 450. I have them in two planes, the Mini Ultra Stik and the Mini Pulse XT. These perform really well and I've never had a problem. In the larger sizes, I seem to gravitate to the AXi's. I have a 2816 in an NES aircraft, can't remember its name at the moment, and a 2826 in an Electrifly Electrostik. I also have a few spare AXi's just waiting for aircraft. The highlight was winning a Gold 2826/10 at my club's annual dinner. I'm leaning toward modifying a Sig Rascal .46 ARF that I have in the box for the 2826. I've heard others have done it. My next project is to assemble and then install a 2808 in a Great Planes Spitfire.
