Twin ducted fans to power 2 meter glider
Rutan's White Knight got me thinking about a pair of jets either along the fuse or on pylons on the wing. Positioning them to miss the tail seems like a very good idea. It's a bizarre and inelegant thought but sounds like fun to convert an unpowered- and less flown- glider to a honker. Would a pair of 400 fans be strong enough? There's plenty of room in the fuse for lipo packs.
