Hey, I just was wondering if anyone else is or has built an r/c tank of large size. I just designed and started building one that is about 4 feet long, powered by 2 large motors, and has a realistic, working turret and cannon that shoots stuff. Anyways, I worked out the whole complicated tubular frame, and the armor shell bolted to it, and have been working on a motor control system. I decided to use a 6 channel radio system, 2 channels for basic movement, 2 for turret, 1 for firing, and 1 for reloading the cannon. Any ideas or input for this project would be much appreciated.

Also, I decided to do an all-mechanical motor controller setup, because it will be much cheaper and be able to use much migher voltage batteries. If anyone else can find any parts that could help me with this project, please, post them here.
