Nitro snowmobile Stage 2
Hi Guys.
I started a new post and we will see how this one goes.
I installed the idler wheels last night and no slipping off now. I think I am ready for a speed run. I will try and get it out today and see what it will do. I am hoping I can hit 50mph today. I will take the camera and the radar gun out today and show on video the speed so everyone can see. If this goes well and performs well, I will button it all up and intalle the dual exhaust and have some fun. I do plan on doing a couple more upgrades but not at the moment. I want to play!
Wish me luck and maybe we can put the speculation of how fast it goes to rest.
Mark

Very nice Mark I would love to see and hear the video.
On another note I have been tinkering around withnthe idea to make a small electric or 1/2 A snow runabout. My biggest hang up is what in the world would I use for a belt? By that I mean the main tread. Th model would be about 12 to 18 inches long I suppose. Any thoughts from anyone? I know Cox made one in the early '70s
