My Feedback: (6)
Are you talking about airplane and helicopters with the same radio? I don't understand when you say:
If you are talking about airplane and helicopters, then yes, you can have a radio that will control an airplane and a helicopter. I have been doing it for over 20 years.

Helicopter flight based on a fan.
I think I am searching for VTOL aircraft something like Harrier, not a helicopter.

oh, vtol. wasnt sure what you meant before.
check out what these guys built: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ws1VD...eature=related
from what i understand, its very hard to build a rc vtol. when you put strong enough motors, plus a way to vector the thrust....now the craft weighs too much. so you add a bigger battery...then it still wieghs too much....bigger motors...bigger props....you guessed it... weighs too much.
however, there are vids on youtube of guys who have done it after much trial and error.

Here's another company (Dragan Flyer Innovations) which provides products which do what you want but these are pretty expensive and probably not good for a beginner flyer - but its real cool just the same!

I came across an Air Hogs Switchblade on closeout and bought one for grins. It was a total waste of my money. It would not get more than 5 feet off of the ground in hover mode and when "switched" to plane mode it dives straight for the ground. I have adjusted to trim as far as it can be adjusted and even when hand launched it turns straight down and comes hard into the ground. <div> I will give them this. The flexible foam these are built out of is tough. It has flown into the ground at full throttle several times now and sustained no visible damage.</div>
