Hi,
Can someone please give me some advice on mounting a Variable pitch motor unit?
I am about to complete my GP Reflection, and need to know how I can mount the HACKER VPS motor system. The problem I have is that the shaft is centred, and would have to travel through the middle of the fuselage. How do I get it past the Carbon rods holding the plane together? Do I need to mount the motor off centre, and if so, wont it affect the built in thrust angle and thrust line, or do i need to bend the rod out directly behind the motor and take it down the side of the plane?
Please help.
