Default Walkera Master CP Electrical Disaster

Well my Master CP arrived from X-Heli last Friday and I had several nice hovers with the stock battery. I cut the Dean's pins from the Glacier 11.1v 1000Mah batteries today and replaced them with the 3.5mm connectors. Plugged in the first battery and heard a small "zip"... realized I had reversed the polarity on the connector. Genius... I know. And it was only on THAT battery. The other three are correct. My question is have I only fried the ESC or worse? Thanks

What does it do now when you plug in a charged battery with the connectors on right?

When I plugged in a correct battery there was no reaction. I bought a new ESC and replaced it a few days later and it works just fine.
