Default DRAGONFLY 22E 6 CH RC HELICOPTER CCPM RTF

Hello friends first time posting here, look forwardto a lot of discussion with you guys. I just purchased the above mentioned helicopter, which I haven't received yet. But I bought this one because its all I could afford at this time and I thought maybe this could be a starting point to get into this hobby and aquire a little training. Hopefully I havent made a hugh mistake by purchasing this critter, I have always wanted to get into this hobby but never had the time or money.

My question to you guys is what should I look for when this heli comes in, I am totally in the dark completely on this. What are any adjustments I need to make, are there any pointers before I fly that will save me grief. What other items might I need to buy that would make this new hobby easier. I am really excited and looking forward to flying it.

If I am asking too many questions or asking all the wrong ones please steer me in the right direction. Also if there is any reading I might can do that would give me a jump start please give me some links. I would also like to learn the terminology of the different parts of a helicopter so when folks give me advice I will be on same page as they are.

I am a fast learner so maybe I will pickup on this fairly quick, thanks you guys for any help you may offer.

if you go into the electric heli section at the top is a walkera topic. they have a thread in there about the 22e. you can probably get a lot of answers there .

Sounds good. Did you pick the 22e because of price?

Yes price was the major contibuting factor, and the 6 channel.

Hi,

I bought a Dragonfly 22E last week. My advice is to use a training gear the first few flights. I own a Hirobo ZXX nitro heli and a Dragonfy 4. I noticed that the swash-plate from the 22E was tilting to the back a lot when I switched the heli on.
So I had to use the Trim to level the swash-plate.
I'am having problems with the pitch and throttle adjust buttons, I do not notice any difference in throttle or pitch behaviour when turning these knobs. Does anyone have some tips for me?

Thanks.
Ruben

After reading some more posts I found out that switch 8 on my transmitter was switched on (default)
Now the PLT and PIT switches are working!

Regards,

Ruben
