First crash - help!

Default First crash - help!

So got a little excited and took off like a rocket, and then I dont know whath happened but one part popped off the link connector and on broke. The one that broke is this:



what part is that and where can I get it cheap? Also does anyone have disassembly instructions?

i just put some thick CA on the piece and glued it back on, hopefully it will stay and I will put it back together in the morning.

EDIT: Anyone know where I can grab heatsinks for cheap?!

So it lasted about 5 minutes then broke again, so I drlled a hole and am now looking for a screw of small size

you've got the right idea. here's my repair, and by the picture i'm assuming you're flying a 22e

two things....

1) make sure to use two nuts or locktite to keep the first nut in place

2) for the sake of balance you should really break off the other side at the same spot and perform the same repair

as far as locating the screws I used the screws the hold the shell on for a computer serial port connector which you might be able to find at radio shack.

about 2-3mm

i broke almost the same part on my first flight. any help please i am very sad [&o] and any tips on hovering a long time

see the ball link under the broken part that what i broke any help
