walkera 36 tail servo
My Walkera 36 has the tail servo installed in the front of the Main frame (I Think is Z model), but in every picture that I have seen from the heli the tail servo is installed in the tail Boom.
which are the best position?
Now i have some space problem to put the lipo battery in the correct place, but I'm not sure if moving the servo back wards can be too bad for C.G.
Anybody has some experience?
Thanks in advance.

RE: walkera 36 tail servo
can you post a picture by any chance? The #60 has the servo at the front, and my 36 has the servo on the tail boom. Maybe by accident you got a 60 instead

RE: walkera 36 tail servo
I include the picture of my 36 (sure that is a 36) not a 60.
Perhaps there are diferents 36 flavours. 36, 36-Z, 36-B,...
But mine has de tail server in front and this dificult to insert the battery in main frame.
I'm not sure if coud be safe move the servo to the tail boom without risk of heli balance

yea it must be a 36B since yours came with a brushless motor, ive never seen it there before, i think the tail would better however less chance of flexing in the lines.

RE: walkera 36 tail servo
I'd mount it on the tail boom, less flex.
If you do move it, use the TREX tail servo rod as it's much stiffer.
PART NO AGNHS1017
You'll also need HM-036-Z-34 Rudder Servo Mount
[WK36-Z-34]

That new.. I wonder wy the placed it there.. it should be at the boom... better on the boom less flexing and faster response from the rudder servo...

RE: walkera 36 tail servo
oh I could not tell if It was CCPM dues to the angle of the picture and I could not see any number 36s on the parts hehe. Well maybe it is in fact a new version of the 36. But its definately not the 36B because if you go on the walkera website it shows that the B is the metal head and tail version.

RE: walkera 36 tail servo
Yes yes that is most definately a 36. Wow this is interesting that you either have a very old original version that no one has seen or you have a new one and walkera has decided to move the tail servo to a most unfavorable position. I cross checked your heli to the entire list of walkera helis and the closest I can get to your servo mount location and the where the motor is mounted is the Walkera 39
