Default 22D Setup

I picked up a Walkera 22D that was laying around the hobby shop. The only way I could achieve CG was to place the battery in front of the servo above the motor. It might fly if I could get the tail to settle down. Is there a better way to get CG with the stock battery?. What are the settings for the limit and delay on the reciever. I would have more fun flying then using for parts. All the pics I see of this heli the battery is behind the motor. It makes mine tail heavy. Any thoughts?

Mine is right behind the motor and it's perfect there. Maybe the swash plate is not setting correctly?

Is yours the newer model with the aluminum tail and frame? I think mine is a earlier version with a carbon tail and it looks to be some kind of fake carbon frame. Also, could I get the settings for the delay and limit on your receiver?

Yeah mine has the aluminum tail boom and frame. I'm still new to these and not sure what you need regarding the settings.

I just got a Walkera BL motor (with pinion) from Highvolt Heli but the pinion is the wrong size so the teeth don't mesh with the main gear. This supposed to be a direct fit (upgrade) and I didn't find out till I had already pressed the gear on and tried to mount it. Anyone have an idea what pinion I need and where I can get it? The shaft size is a 2.3 mm.

Use pinion gears from ms composit. They are the same pitch as that of the 22ds gears.

Thanks for the tip, I'll get one in case the other one I found doesn't hold up. I did find a gws pinion with the right pitch, just had to drill it out to press it on.
