My CB100's tail motor had start problems and would go wild at times in general (does anyone know of this?).
Anyway, I decided to rip the tail assembly off my old 4#3B and replace the CB100's with it. Apparently you can just take the tail brushless ESC and plug the motor right in the Rx. I haven't tested it a lot so I'll have to see how it holds but it appears to keep up, although it is a bit less authoritative than the brushless. All of my CB100 tail rotors are broken and lost, can anyone tell me if there's a size difference between them and the 4#3 ones?

I didn't like the stock brushless motor that came on the heli, so, I replaced it with a 2.9g motor from Chinese Jade. The end bell of the motor isn't constantly coming off like on the stock motor and has plenty of power. You would also need a different tail housing that the motor can fit into. I had a 4#3b for a very short while and had to replace a tail motor on it. The wires were so tiny that I ruined a motor just trying to strip the wire ends so I could solder it!!!![:@]
