Tank Men: The Human Story of Tanks at War
Just picked up a copy - at a local Chinese bookstore at that! - of Robert Kershaw's excellent history of tank crews of WW1 & 2 starting with what it was like to be inside "Mother" wearing chain mail masks for protection against splinters to the end of the European Campaign with the new Comets & Pershings coming online.

If you haven't yet read this history, I'd highly recommend picking up a copy since its a fascinating view from inside the armor plate.

Another excellent book is"Tank Sergeant" by Ralph Zumbro. It chronicles the life of a Tanker during the Vietnam War, and gives some insight on the creative methods a tanker will go through to keep their machine running, and to modify it to meet the demands of the conflict being fought.
