Default LAV-25

There's a 1;16 RC LAV-25 on EchoBayvious with water cannon supoosed to shoot a pretty good distance. Any one familiar with this model?[&:]....who makes it, replacement parts available....compatable with HL-Tam?? I'm intetrested in only the water gun to mount in my Sherman where I have installed a flame gun. (OK, only water [:@][>:]]) Once I have it, I have no use for the LAV unless I can convert it to a German 8 wheeler. Would appreciate any info.

I have 2 of them. 1 works and 1 is parts. lol what is wrong with them..

1 - Only rear wheels drive.
2 - not a 'locked diff' so 1 wheels can steer
3 - wheels are hard plastic
4 - only front wheels spin
5 - cannon level has to be moved by hand. not rc
6 - controller is very cheap.

now if someone took one, gutted the reservoir out of it, re-made the axles, put chain drive on the inside and used some gear boxes and made it like a tank that would rock.

also flashing 'cop' lights on it get annoying.

edit: the pump is actually good. its a 3 roller style and has lots of punch.

yep, that's it.....only interested in the water cannon system for a flame thrower mock-up. Think it would be piossible to mount in the Tamiya Sherman? Thanks for the info...I'll check the others out too.

I was also thing of kit-bashing the thing into an 8-wheeled German "Puma"...Does that too sound "feasible"?

umm... dose not look anything like a puma man. front axle steers, middle 2 are not full axles, and rear is only drive. also wheels bad.

this is what a puma should look like:

Did I start something or what....? I was planning on just turning the turret around --ie, making the back into the front. I don't even care if it "turns" all that well. Just wanted some "easy meat" for my Sherman
