Historical Panzermeyer

Hey Swathy, you made a comment about the historical name "Kurt Meyer" being related to a murderous nazi. I checked it out and it seems inconclusive that he was guilty and corresponded with several Canadian officers he had faced during the alleged shooting of Canadian prisoners. Most are dead now and maybe the truth will never be known.

There's no question Kurt Meyer was a die hard Nazi. It was just was not able to be proven at his trial after the war that he had issued the order to shoot the Canadian prisioners. I've read that you have to discount some of his statements he makes in his book. Although, you do have to give him credit for his ability to to command. He was definitely a hands on sort of guy. Has to make you wonder weather he actually pulled the trigger or not.
