Looking for 8 German gas cans. All I find are the singles at ridiculous prices and Israeli tanks carry 6 - 8 cans. I am converting two Shermans to Israeli. Anyone have any to sell or leads to who may carry them?

I know how you feel. Those things are way overpriced. The US fuel cans are easier and cheaper to find that the German style. Are you sure what kind you need? The Brits and US copied the German cans parat way thru the war. Hence the name" Jerry" can. The Brit fuel cans were so bad them call them "flimsies". The US cans have lips on the bottom and the German ones are narower and tapered on the top and botom to slid in and out of a rack easier. Bob

thanks guys....got put onto Verlinden who has them in sets of 6., I bought 2 sets, so 12 with postage came to $36. Israeli cans are quite like German with a different neck, which I will add. Here's the Verlinden link.

Not this time...I have an orchestra concert, then getting ready to fly out to Germany for two chamber music rehearsals & concerts on 6 and 9 Dec, then fly back on the 11th for another concert and get ready for a Christmas performance.
Only thing I am doing tank-wise is converting a Sherman 105 to an Israeli M-51 and doing a similar conversion to my VVSS Sherman when it gets here. Most of my time is spent making reeds for oboe, oboe d'amore and english horn.
