Idle Current?

Hi Again,

What is a normal range of current with the unit idle, no servos attached?
Thanks

RE: Idle Current?

Hi Edgar,
The current draw of the receiver alone is at .15 Amps. Depending on the Voltage input this can vary as well, because of the differences in loss through the voltage regulators. With that you can get a read of either .1 or .2 amps. Calibration of the system is at 2 amps. So that can cause a little variation as well, since idle is a little away from the calibration point. Calibration point is set to a spot of likely usage.

RE: Idle Current?

I checked two of them (mine plus a friend's one). They log file says 0.9 amp with no servos[X(]

Should we be concerned?

Thanks
