Hi Edgar,
The current draw of the receiver alone is at .15 Amps. Depending on the Voltage input this can vary as well, because of the differences in loss through the voltage regulators. With that you can get a read of either .1 or .2 amps. Calibration of the system is at 2 amps. So that can cause a little variation as well, since idle is a little away from the calibration point. Calibration point is set to a spot of likely usage.
