While you are waiting for someone to do a build you can read the manual here;

RE: New 50cc Hellcat is for real
OK I have arranged for Peter Fritsche (gpete) to do a build thread on the new Hellcat.
FYI Peter is a world class scale modeler who currently flies a 115" scratch built P-38 with 2 DA-85s. Peter knows his stuff and he's not far away so if anything comes up we can work it out together.
He will probably post it in the warbirds section, I'm not sure if it's possible to cross-post in this forum as well but if so we'll have it here too.
I promised I'd get the plane to him next week, so you ought to start seeing information soon.
FYI we have agreed that he will use everything that Wild Hare supplies and won't go outside for anything unless I can't get it. So you don't have to be concerned that he's doing something that anybody else cannot do, this build is meant to be by the book for the average ARF assembler, not for scale builders.
Should be fun!

RE: New 50cc Hellcat is for real
OK, I picked up my Hellcat from Tom last week. The packaging is sturdy and first class - I don't think UPS could damage the plane without a huge effort on their part. The covering is really good. Mine does not need the heat gun or iron. I went with the 'long cowl' and will use a DLE55. The cowl is very nicely painted and fits well. The best part though is the RETRACTS - THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!! The plane should be easy to put together with the detailed instructions (online). This is my first big warbird so hopefully it will fly as well as Tom says it does. I am happy with the purchase and look forward to flying something that is not seen everywhere (P47, P51, etc.).

RE: New 50cc Hellcat is for real
I had a H9 Hellcat with around 100 flights on her. E-Flight 60 and 6S 4900 Lipo for power. Flew like stink! She's gone, but this one looks like a great replacement. I wanted one around 80 plus inches, but not heavy like a bigger Ziroli or such. So, not many excuses left now, except not any time to do one. LBJ in Fort Worth

In case you haven't been following there is a build/review in the public warbird forum.

Well guys two Hellcat bunnies made it to WBOTX (Warbirds over Texas) Ron ables and myself got our cats ready for the big event.
Special thanks to Ken at RCUniverse for the two flying pictures, Ken spent allot of time taking very nice shots of everyones planes. He stood in the heat for most of each day. My hats off to him.
