Dont feel bad my wing came uncovered after 3 flights AND I went over all the seams several times!! Luckily the whole red pattern came off in one piece so I used it to make another..It came off all the way to the tip and was flapping around like a 3rd aileron! I was thinking.." this is great..Im gonna crash a $2000 plane because of a lousy piece of covering"!![X(]

WHOW, that's interesting, I had the exact same number of flights on this bird, AND I too had gone over the entire plane with an iron prior to the first flight. Yes, I used my covering as a pattern too.
What I did find is that the sanding on the wing was very little. This didn't provide the old covering much surface to adhear to. I always sand to 400 grit. Makes a great surface for coating.

Yea I noticed that also...However the sheets were glued together VERY well..The joints were all straight and strong!! The only thing I got bummed about was the piece that tore off had the bunny and the wild hare logo on it so now It doesnt fly as good!! LOL that hare on the wing kept things in check!!

I will have ANOTHER talk with the builders, it appears their vacuum cleaner (used to ckean all the dust off the wings) may be broken. I can see a lot of dust stuck to the covering.
Sorry about that.

Yeap, we are taking about a 1" wide of clear and ironing it on the leading edge, keeps the air off of the seams.
It would help if the seams where out of the air flow.
