There is such a dramatic difference between the two wing designs (on the same plane with the same setup) you would not believe it. We are now using the E168 on all of our planes that are probable candidates for IMAC, the Extar 260, Extra 300 Sopecial 28%, and the 36% Extra 330SX (new).

HOLD the boat,,,new 36% Extra 330SX ???????????????????????????????
OK, now you have my attention!!!!
Please give me some specs, I was going to order new wings for my 35%, but I might just order a new plane.

The 35% 330SX is EXACTLY the same as the 35% 330LX except it has a shorter canopy.

OK, good idea, same plane with different look.
Tom, I know you don't like giving out future info, but I have to ask.
Are you thinking about coming out with a larger scale plane than 35%, or maybe a 35% Edge, Cap, ect.
Thanks for any info that you can give me.

I want to know when this comes to sales because I think Tom will out do Carden. I've been waiting for a 40% Carden but hate the thought of building from boxes of sticks. With the average of satisfied customers that have reported already on Toms planes we can rest asured that the 41% Extra 260 will be world class and hopefully give Carden a wakeup call..... Keep it up Tom...Waiting for the new Extra 260 41%%%%

It will be a while, probably next year. It depends on how fast you save!
Keep in mind a 41% plane costs a lot of money to buy and finish. Figure $1600 for an engine, $1400 for servos, you're at $3,000 and haven't even bought a plane yet.
Then you have to have all the toys like power box, dual this and that, canisters, smoke, etc. It gets really expensive, I don't expect to sell a whole lot of planes.

Tom, it sounds like you have, indeed, targeted this plane for a 150 (brand not important at this time). If this plane is like your others than maybe a 150 is not necessary, or is it?

Well it's going to be 121" wingspan and will hopefully be in the 35 lb range. A 150 is the ligical (and logical) choice, but the new MVVS 116 may be a viable contender also. I think it will be too large for any of the 100cc class, but one can never tell.
