I'm going to replace my Dubro's with some Kavan tires. http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/Tires.htm My buddy has the 3.5" on his Edge. Has anyone tried the 3 inchers? Will they hold up? They weigh almost half what the 3 1/2" do. TIA.

I used 4" Kavan's on mine, with some dandy cnc rims.

Lookin' to save as much weight as I can. I'm still a bit nose heavy for my taste and I've got the batteries back as far as they'll go. Pretty sure if I stick the rudder servo back in the tail I'll be tail heavy........

we have some big bunch grass at the edges of the runway....I wanted some ground clearance under the pants....Then took them off anyway.

kavan tires are great on pavment, they will slide sidewase without fliping the bird up on the wing tip. if you need to scrub off exess spead.

I used the Kavans on my WH Extra 260. I never had any problems. Got mine from Troy Built Models. In fact out of my crash parts I think the wheels held up just fine!
