They always seem to range between 15-1/2 to 19-1/2 pounds. I've always thought the 15 1/2 pound reports were a little "understated".

My Extra Special weighs 17 lbs with a DA50, NIMH redundant battery system and everything else standard as it comes out of the box. I have three second place finishes in IMAC so far.

I have just completed mine with an MVVS 58 prosport, Bisson Wrap around and after adding an addtional rudder servo to balance per spec I came in at 19 lbs 8 oz. Good or bad??? I'll let you know after this weekend.

Your plane should weigh about 18 lbs. As I note from your email you also have and extra half pound of batteries, still 18.5 should be possible.

Check your scale. I don't believe 19 1/2 lbs on yours any more than I believe 16.5 for an Ultimate with a G62. Yours is reading heavy and his is reading light.

I have a new 35# digital scale on the way, so I should be able to report mine (300LX) in a few days. I have some carbon but I know exactly what each piece saved, so it should be easy to extrapolate what various setups weigh.

Got my new scale today, and after a few tests to determine that it is accurate, (it is, to 1g) I just had to throw my plane on there. 15lb, 3oz. without fuel. That's lighter than I expected. Carbon wing and stab tubes, carbon gear and spinner, single 2400 li-ion on rx, no pilot, no wheel pants, no choke servo, 16oz tank, DA50 w/slimline pitts in the nose. Just for giggles I weighed my 80" WM Patty, which before I had somewhere around 13.5-14lb dry, on my bathroom scale. 15lb 2oz! And that's after I lightened it a bit! That's an enormous wing loading difference. Haven't flown the WH yet but I can't wait, now.
