85" CAP and 80" YAK
"What can one do better than the other?" is my main question. I am mostly a 3D pilot but like to mix it up as well with IMAC stuff. I am a knife edge nut and like really nice slow high alpha knife edges. Harriers are fun too so a stable harrier is important. Which one is more stable in the above manuevers?
If I got the CAP it would be a 50cc light gasser like DA50.
If it were the Yak I stuff my Moki 1.80 in there (tank on CG).
Thanks

The Yak is definitely a freat 3d bird that is sized to be overpowered with a da-50. Typical high torque servos like Hitec 5945 are also overkill, so if you set it up like a typical Edge you will have a top of the line hot rod.
The Cap is larger and in my opinion more refined. Being larger, it's more stable, and I just like the way it flies. It is much more flexible on engine selection since it has lots of cowl room and choice of wings.
The Cap is an extraordinary 3d airplane. It sets up in an elevator just as nice as you please with no wing rock and no experimenting.
If you only have a DA-50, the Yak will have better power<>weight. If you have a larger engine I like the Cap.
