looking to buy a Wild Hare Extra 300LX
Hello
I would like to purchase one of your Extra 300LX airplanes.
over the last 6 days I have left a message on your answering machine, I've sent you email, I've called there several times...just to listen to your answering machine and not talk to a person.
Are you on vacation or still in business?
Please advise.
Thanks
David

I had seen Tom post in another forum stating he was in Ca. so that may be why you havent heard from him yet. It is very unusual for tom not to answer his phone.

I believe his son just returned from a long business absence and a little family get together in northern and southern California was in order. I assure you that he will return your call as soon as he returns. Sorry for the delay.

Have no doubts to the business status. Everything is just fine and going well. I knew about the family thing a couple of months ago, but I guess the notification of same may have been forgotten in the excitement of the homecoming.

RE: looking to buy a Wild Hare Extra 300LX
you guys are great...do you have any clue when Tom will return? He must be the only person at Wild Hare.
Do we anticipate the company starting again this week or should I set my expectations to buy what I need in April?
Thank you Ben, Silver, whextra300lx, and mstroh for your encouragement.

I would expect Tom and his wife to be home near the end of the week. I'm sure he'll contact you immediately thereafter. If you have any questions that need immediate answers, send me a pm and I'll do what I can for you. Pricing is something that can be had from the website now, and Tom when he returns.
Thanks for your patience,
Pat Roy

When I called Tom, he picked up right away. He took my order and sent the plane the next day. He is on top of customer service

RE: looking to buy a Wild Hare Extra 300LX
Ok, I started this thread, and many then contributed...it is for me to grant a conclusion.
Tom did get home, and he called me rather quickly (as it was suggested he would do). I must say, he does strike me as a gentleman and a fair person. It seems that I must wait for the next shipment, due in a few weeks.
You know what? I am going to do just that, wait until the shipment arrives:
1) I am certain that my next Wild Hare will be just as good as the first (oh, I didn't mention, the first one got dumb thumbed on high rates) The Extra 300LX is a very fine airplane, my regrets run deep for having made a stupid mistake.
2) The response and support that Tom and Wild Hare receives in this RCU forum is remarkable.
3) Tom's customer service and response to my call was spot on. He was humble, without being a wimp; he was straight shooting, while offering confidence that my needs will be filled. (sorry, I'm used to a grumpy Bubba)
Simple things separate the men from the boys when it comes to running a business.
Thank you for your support in Tom's absence. He must appreciate it, I know I certainly do to.

RE: looking to buy a Wild Hare Extra 300LX
FYI, I just ordered an Extra Special...the wings from the Extra LX are in fine shape...so, they may be interchanged...
Finally, a smile is coming back..anticipation is a good thing...Tom and his bride were most hopeful.
Thanks again gents for carrying the flag, it made a big difference.
